E Ink

E Ink is the electronic-paper display technology used in e-readers like Kindle. Rather than a backlit LCD, it reflects ambient light the way paper does, producing a glare-free, easy-on-the-eyes page that stays readable in bright sunlight while drawing very little battery power.
